One of Jane’s hallmark programs with the Reno Pops Orchestra is the “open rehearsal night.”  In an effort to allow students, community members, and prospective musicians of the Reno Pops the opportunity to enjoy great orchestral literature first-hand, the orchestra opens a few of their rehearsal nights at the beginning of each concert set to visiting musicians.  At these rehearsals, anyone comfortable with playing college and professional-level orchestral literature is welcome to sit in with the group for a few weeks–without any membership commitment or audition requirement.  Check the renopops.org website for an up-to-date rehearsal schedule and more details about this opportunity open to musicians of all ages and levels of experience.
